Ordained a Baptist minister in 1977, Priscilla was in specialized ministries (chaplaincy, pastoral counseling, and chaplaincy education) for over 25 years. She moved to New England in 1999 and began her transition into the United Church of Christ. She is currently serving as a UCC pastor in Massachusetts since 2005.
Priscilla has worked with her own dreams for spiritual and therapeutic growth since 1975. She has worked as a therapist and spiritual director (individual and group) using dreams for deepening healing for 30 years.
In 2003, she began the D. Min program at The University of Creation Spirituality in Oakland, California in order to work with Matthew Fox (Creation Spirituality) and Jeremy Taylor (Group Process Dream work). Jeremy Taylor was a part of her dissertation team as she wrote a novel using creation spirituality themes.
Since completing her D. Min work, she has facilitated dream groups, offered presentations on Creation Spirituality and Dreams-as-Spiritual-Meditation, (for the NH UCC Conference Prepared to Serve and at local church retreats). She also has made connections between “Dreamwork and Artwork” for the Anderson-Soule Gallery’s Muse It or Lose It series. She has taught “Supervision through the Lens of Creation Spirituality” and “DreamWork and Verbatim Analysis” for Bi-regional ACPE conferences. Priscilla has created mini-sabbaticals for local clergy and does Spiritual Direction (group and individual) using these foundations. Priscilla is the author of several published articles and poetry.
Since a fundamental tenet of Creation Spirituality is that our creative work is how we express/connect the Sacred in our everyday life, Priscilla utilizes a variety of methods to support those seeking to discover the “thin places” where the light shines through in their lives.
